ACS and ADGP hold meeting with district administration

Dharamshala, Apr 30 ( UNI) An important meeting was held in Paridhi Grih under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Sharma and ADGP Abhishek to review the security and other preparations for the visit of President Draupadi Murmu to Dharamshala on May 6.
In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Sharma directed the district administration and all the officers to make all the preparations under the prescribed protocol and not to be negligent at any level.
Along with this, ADGP Abhishek gave necessary guidelines regarding security arrangements and also asked to make strong arrangements as per the rules.
President Draupadi Murmu is to attend the convocation of the Central University Himachal Pradesh at Dharamshala.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa informed about the preparations made by the district administration and also assured to ensure strict compliance of the instructions received from the government.
On this occasion, DIG Abhishek Dullar, SP Shalini Agnihotri and SDM Dharamshala, SDM Kangra and SDM Dehra along with officials of Public Works Department, Jal Shakti Department, IPH Department were present.
Before this, the committee discussed the preparations in detail with the Central University administration.
